Hi John,
Thank you for your patience while we worked through this issue.
We have looked into this and we would like to inform you that your account was never charged for this weird activity that your account experienced. The November 17, 2008 total charged to your account was only $32.55. Also, in speaking with our engineers, it seems that this activity that you saw was only a small glitch in the system that momentarily showed click and impression values incorrectly.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
Best,
Lisset
I think the most frustrating thing is the impression I get they they don’t know how their own system works (deleted ad makes it so they cant find it even when I give them their own internal tracking guid? right…) They can’t match up the 14th with the 17th. Their only way of matching up clicks to spends is to look at a daily charge and guessing that since it is lower then the amount that it wasn’t charged….
They might have poor or no analytics involved and be flying by the seat of their pants.
Maybe have Mario screencap everything?
They might not be that savvy to pull up historical data and analyze it intelligently.
Well they credited my account today. (They haven’t told they credited it yet, but they did.)
Funny thing is that I found out because the traffic is converting again. So if this holds up they will be getting a lot more of my money.
i actually just signed up with socialmedia.com. so you saying they are not worth it? i am still not exactly sure what they are (i know they sell ads into facebook apps)..can you give an example of how to use socialmedia.com to promote a cpa offer? would really appreciate it. thanks.
