I think I know what you mean, even though i am new I do get the yawn effect when talking about affiliate marketing/ppc to my brothers who are about my age. But, I think if you use the XXX.XX opening, people will be attentive, but not really listen for the information. I think it will be like the get rich quick people who want a quick and easy answer.
