Placing Ads On Your Website 2 of 11

There are 4 basic types of ads you can put on your website.
- Pay Per Click
You get paid when someone clicks on the ad on your page, I’ll focus on these right now. - Pay Per Impressions
You get paid when someone goes to your web page. These are usually sold in lots of 1000 impressions. So for every 1000 hits you get paid - Pop Ups
These are annoying and stupid so I won’t tell you much about them other then they do work and are successful; I don’t like them though. - Pop Unders

These are places where you can sign up and (after you are approved) they will give you a small snippet of code to place on your website. Their code will then read your webpage and come up with ads that are relevant to the content about your website. For example if your web page is about razors, then you can expect to see ads about razors.
Do not click on your own ads or encourage anyone to click on your ads. This is called click fraud and can easily be discovered and you will lose any money you may have earned.
