How I Run My PPC Campaigns

Ok here is my secret.

I have a picture which illustrates this concept.

  1. Pick a niche
  2. Build a community/site around it
  3. Pick a bunch of keywords and relevant ads — illustrated below
  4. Submit them to a bunch of different PPC engines — illustrated below
  5. See what sticks — illustrated below

  1. LOL, excellent John I need to try that

  2. Did you plant a video camera in my apartment? Uncanny!

  3. Thanks for the advice John, but i keep clogging up my fan.

  4. I was just about to have dinner when I read your post. That’s a more effective appetite suppressant than the weight loss pills I promote.

  5. lol.

One question. At one point do you look for good affiliate offers? Is it before step 1 or after?

I’ve been able to build some decent traffic niche sites but then can’t find good ways to monetize those besides AdSense(which I’ve yet to earn more than 3 digits in–sadly, thats including the 2 decimals).

Should I start by looking up good advertisers on CJ and LinkShare and then building niches around those products?

    Thanks.

PS. I’m pretty new to the Aff marketing thing but I’m really enjoying it. I live in Boston so am going to try and make it to the Summit. Hope to see your speech.
